In Marietta, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in Georgia, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.

This place is really set up for professional landscapers to buy in larger quantities. The staff were super friendly and said that they would sell to homeowners, but they seemed hesitant. Probably because I didn't pull up in a stake bed truck made it obvious that I wasn't looking to leave with pallets of monkey grass.

I've been working with this nursery for over ten years. Always helpful and knowledgeable. Great looking plants. JR really takes care of the plants and the staff has been the same the whole time, always making sure I get the best plants for the job.

So glad I stumbled upon this place!!! Hidden gem behind some industrial buildings off of New Peachtree - they mostly sell to landscapers, but are open to the public, too. EXCELLENT prices and selection! They literally had everything I'd been searching for for weeks - autumn fern, cast iron plant, fatsia, creeping jenny, elephant ears, Professor Sargent camellia... They have so many healthy perennials, hostas, groundcovers, ferns, ornamental grasses, and woody ornamentals (not many trees though). This is definitely my go-to nursery in Atlanta now!
